Dr. Mark Stanford, D.D.S.

Dr. Stanford has practiced in this area for over 20 years specializing in private family practice in Livonia Mi. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his dentistry degree from the University of Detroit in 1989. When you are in his office, his goal is to make sure you are comfortable and receive the personalized care you deserve.

Dr. Stanford has received advance training in endodontics (Root Canals), which includes rotary endodontics, as well as additional classes in pain management. We are continually receiving additional training with insurance companies, to ensure all our patients receive the maximum benefits.

Sheiva has been in the dental field for over 20 years and a dental hygienist for 11 years. She holds her Dental Hygiene license and registered from the State of Michigan‘s Board of Dentistry. She maintains an active certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is committed to a lifelong learning by attending each year in a series of continuing education courses.


In the 19 years she’s been working with Dr. Stanford, she has gotten to know so many wonderful people and their families. Working with an expert dental team and being a part of Stanford Dental family has fulfilled her passion for helping and caring for others. Sheiva prides herself in delivering outstanding oral care to every patient she treats by carefully listening and explaining in detail the best options available for each patient’s dental needs.


During her time away from the practice, she loves to travel with her husband Albert and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Dorothy graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Ferris State University in 1982 and is Certified in Local Anesthesia + Nitrous Oxide. 

What she loves most about being a Dental Hygienist is working with people to help them maintain good oral health & prevent gum disease.
